"What an amazing stay I had at the Grand Guesthouse – If you want a taste of the true Key West, as opposed to the ‘Disney' version that more and more properties are offering – Give this place a try – the owners were so sweet and were there to help guide me to the places around town that the true locals know – I am a regular Key West visitor and I have to say that I felt like I saw the city in a new way because of my stay at the Grand – This is the real thing." "We stayed for two nights at The Grand Guesthouse, and it was totally a wonderful experience. The rooms were clean and cool (AC worked great!) the layout was comfortable. The continental breakfast in the morning was a wide assortment of cereals, sweet buns, fruit, yogurt, hard boiled eggs, bagels and English muffins. Very nice, relaxing music playing. It was a treat! It was in a quiet area, very accessible to restaurants and scooter/bike rental places. The staff (thanks, Derek!) was really helpful with recommendations. I would absolutely recommend this place to everyone!" Holly

"We checked in, and immediately we were welcomed by such warmth and professionalism. We were given an immediate tour of the area with the map we were given. Jim circled all the great places to see, eat, shop and just to check out the beautiful scenery, while telling us a bit of history of the area. It really helped get our vacation off to a good start. The rooms were very clean and attractive. The yard was lush and a great place to meet the other guests at breakfast or just lounging in the evening.We definitely will tell our friends about this great experience.Thanks for helping us have such a great vacation." "I have traveled extensively throughout the world and this ranks at the top! The management was flawless and the staff was wonderful. Every person that I met there during my stay went above and beyond to be helpful. Their expanded continental breakfast was wonderful and a nice change from the normal breakfast that is provided at many locations. The price was extremely reasonable for everything that I received while staying there. If you go to Key West, you MUST stay at the Grand Guesthouse." John

Recently the NY Times did a piece on Key West that brought it all back for us, but mostly we were glad they didn't mention The Grand, because it would be terrible if tons of NY yuppies (ok, well other than us) heard about it and ruined it.
